CareerBuilder.com Reviewer's Comments
Free yourself from unproductive searches through thousands of resumes or job ads. Employers can quickly access applicable resumes with three powerful searches, and job seekers can receive relevant job alerts with our “TopTenREVIEWS Bronze Award” winner, CareerBuilder.com.
This service has it all and is comparable to the #1 and #2 services. However, the top two services have a few more features, are easier to use and have better customer support.
You can post a job description for 30 days for $385, or buy a resume database to browse as many resumes as you want for $900.
The resume search engine page is designed to allow you to pick the criteria that will narrow your search results to the most qualified candidates. There are currently three search forms available in the Resume Database: Quick Search, Simple Keyword Search and My Screeners.
With Quick Search, users run a keyword search with minimal criteria. To start searching, simply click on the Search Resumes tab.
There are four different types of keyword searches, which will find exactly what you are looking for in the database.
- All of These Wordssearches for resumes that include all of the keywords that you have specified.
- Any of These Words searches for resumes that have any of the keywords that you have specified.
- Exact Phrase searches for resumes containing the exact phrase that you have indicated in the keyword area.
- Boolean Search narrows or broadens your search using words such as “and”, “or” and “and not.” A Boolean Search Tutorial is provided for further help and assistance.
